Controls That Trick You Into Thinking It’s Easy

The control scheme couldn’t be simpler. Brake on the left, accelerator on the right. That’s the whole setup.

The tricky part? Physics. Hit the gas mid-air and your vehicle tilts forward. Brake in the air and it leans back. Getting that balance right — especially on steep, uneven terrain — takes real skill. One wrong move and you’re starting over from scratch.

Distance is everything in Hill Climb Racing. The farther you go, the better your score. Along the way, collect coins scattered across the track to boost your earnings.

But there’s more to it than just surviving. Pull off stunts and mid-air maneuvers during jumps to rack up bonus points and complete missions. Missions reward you with extra coins, which means faster upgrades, which means going even farther. The loop is tight and satisfying.

Online leaderboards let you measure yourself against players worldwide — a small but motivating push to keep improving.

Upgrade Everything

Your starting vehicle is a sluggish, wobbly mess — and that’s intentional. As you earn coins, you can upgrade the axle, suspension, and tires to transform it into something far more capable.

Beyond performance, you can also change your vehicle’s color and unlock entirely new rides. The game offers over a dozen vehicles, from motorcycles to tanks, each with its own feel and challenge.
